ANDY SCHOLL LAW, P.C

I grew up in Albuquerque, graduated from Eldorado High School, and studied American and Latin American History at the University of Kansas. I also played first base and outfield for the Jayhawks-- Rock Chalk Jayhawk! After KU, I spent two summers playing and coaching baseball in Eskilstuna, Sweden and then spent several more years working as an International Envoy Coach for Major League Baseball in South Africa, Germany, Indonesia, Singapore and China. These were life-changing experiences, to say the least.

I came home to New Mexico and attended the University of New Mexico School of Law. My practice focuses on civil litigation with an emphasis in medical negligence and personal injury litigation with a particular interest in cases involving eye injuries caused by optometrists or ophthalmologists.

I have successfully appeared before the New Mexico Court of Appeals and have successfully argued in the New Mexico Supreme Court, which was an absolute thrill.

In my spare time, I enjoy playing guitar, exercising and being outside with my beautiful wife and our adorable kids.

About Lauren

I graduated at the top of my class from the UNM School of Law.  Prior to attending law school, I received a PhD from Harvard University in Biostatistics, and then worked as both a professor at the University of New Mexico and technical staff member at Sandia National Labs.  Through these experiences, I worked with a wide array of different professionals: physicians, epidemiologists, scientists, and engineers; authored peer-review publications in the areas of empirical causation, risk assessment, and epidemiology; and taught statistics courses to various audiences.

In my spare time, I enjoy running, hiking, and spending time with my husband and kids.  Ultimately, I love any excuse to explore a new part of our beautiful State with my family.
